Manicures

A manicure is the tidying and shaping of the finger nails and hands.
The nails are filed and the cuticles are then massaged with cuticle oil and soaked. After soaking... the cuticles are pushed back, and any excess is clipped away. The hands and lower arm are then massaged. After the massage, a paraffin wax treatment will be performed.
To finish, the nails are painted.

Treatment duration: aprox. 45 minutes
Manicure's are usually carried out every 4 to 6 weeks.


Pedicures

A pedicure is the tidying and shaping of the toe nails and feet.
The nails are filed and the cuticles are massaged with cuticle oil and then soaked.
After soaking... the cuticles are pushed back and any excess is clipped away.
The heels and balls of the feet are filed to remove any rough skin. The feet and lower leg are then massaged, followed by a Paraffin wax treatment.
To finish... the nails are painted.

Treatment duration: approx. 1 hour to 1 hour & 15 mins
Pedicure's are usually carried out every 4 to 6 weeks.



Tinting

This is tinting of the eyelashes and/or eyebrows.
The process involves the eyelashes / eyebrows being cleansed. For eyelashes,the tint is then applied and left for approx 10 minutes, eyebrows will be aprox 3 minutes.
The tint is then removed using dampened cotton pads.

Treatment duration: approx. 20 minutes.
Tinting is usually carried out every 6 to 8 weeks.


N.B. As a precaution a patch test MUST be carried out at least 24 hours
before you have any tinting done. This ensures you have no allergic
reactions to the dye used.



Facials


The purpose of a facial is to deep cleanse the face and neck area, relax tight muscles and improve the general condition of your skin. The facial will start of with a deep cleanse. After that the face and neck area will be exfoliated. Steaming will be performed in a luxury facial.
A facial massage will be given and then a mask is applied to cleanse deep into the pores.
A hand and arm massage will be part of the luxury facial. After the mask is removed the skin is then toned and moisturised.

Treatment duration: aprox.50 minutes to 1 hour
Facials are usually carried out every 4 to 6 weeks.


Waxing


Waxing is the semi permanent removal of unwanted hair using warm wax and paper strips. Most areas of the body can be waxed providing the hair is long enough.
Before waxing the hairs need to be approx.1cm long.
The treatment times vary according to the area being treated.

NB Following your waxing treatment, your skin may feel a little sensitive and
look slightly red. This is quite normal and the reaction usually subsides
within 2-3 hours.


-Please wear loose fitted clothes to avoid irritation of the skin.
-Avoid all heat treatments, sauna, sunbathing, sunbeds and steam bath etc
for at least 24 hrs.
-Do not go swimming
for at least 24 hrs, chlorine may irritate the skin.
-Do not apply make up to the face if upper lip chin etc has been treated 
for at least 24 hrs.
-Do not use perfumed soaps or lotions on the treated area
for at least 24 hrs.
-Do not apply deodrant to the underarm area
for at least 24 hrs.
-Have only luke warm showers/baths, heat will make the area treated feel sensitive and irritated.

Waxing is usually carried out every 4 to 6 weeks.
